Meet Angie Zamora. This woman is full of love! She's one of those women who brings joy and happiness to everything she does, I mean who wouldn't love that?! Angie had quite the adventure before coming to Canada to work. From Aspen, Colorado to, Paris, France, and cooking for patients in need of healing food, Angie has a heart of gold and has had a lot of different experiences when it comes to hospitality.
She is now the Assistant Kitchen Manager of Stony Plain Original Joe's. In this podcast we discuss her passion for food and her team. She talks about how patience is key in building a great career and also key to being a great leader. Kindness is simply part of her DNA, but I especially love her take on being kind to ourselves, this is such an important part of each of our own personal growth journeys.
Last year Angie attended a six-month masterclass I facilitated on Authentic Leadership where we spent a lot of time together and got to connect in a deeper way, I am so grateful for that time. We discuss the concept of "always be learning" which is something you will find at the core of any great team and leader. Listening to her talk about this in relation to her team is very inspiring and Angies desire to keep learning is commendable.
Thank you Angie for being my guest! It was an honor to learn more of your story and swap stories with you!
